It’s the Wednesday night before Christmas, the holiday spirit has kicked in, your flying higher than a sleigh strapped to the back of a billion reindeer. Work is paused or on autopilot, you’ve yet to fly away or welcome incoming guests…
THIS IS YOUR TIME
Gather all ye misfits and ravers, bon-vivants on permanent vacation, and Elves preparing for the crunch, all ye who enjoy an evening of big beat to usher in the calm of a silent night. Junction City Music Hall is proud to welcome some of the finest bands in all the land, supported by several sets from their resident dreidl spinning, Kwanza observing, tree trimming, jolly man for all seasons, overstuffed stocking of musical joy DJ Jason Parker Quinton as Dj Yung Santa playing hits of present day, holiday favourites, and the best dance music of Christmases past.
Opening the night are the youthful rock historians The 86’ers. These young dudes carry the news, the big axes, and a powerful sound that’s as reliable as death and taxes.
The headliner for the night is The Beat Club these guys pluck from the mods, the punks, new wave, garage, and classic rock gardens to assemble a Power Pop cornucopia that makes you dance, think, have an epiphany, and then forget it as you are lost in an orgiastic frenzy of uptempo beats and timeless grooves.
