Goddess X Molly Davis X Noemii

Ladies'NightOut! (1).jpg

A night of music brought to us by one of the finest breweries in the world, Collective Arts. People know. It's the best. Drink the beer as cool as the brewery that brews it: Collective Arts - masters of beer, giving some music back to the people. Can't not be a good time.

World renowned storyteller and musician Molly Davis is joined by Goddess who are a high-vibration musical movement on a mission to uplift the spirit, awaken the heart and unite the human family.

We are huge fans of Molly Davis and all of her projects at Junction City, but don’t just take our word for it, Molly’s biography speaks for itself:

I am a multi-instrumentalist for hire located in Toronto Ontario, Canada.

Beginning with the violin at age 4, I have since learned to play drums, rhythm guitar, keyboards, bass, and most recently, have begun to sing as well. It started when my parents found me plunking out the theme from Jurassic Park on their old upright piano.

In my adult life, I have enjoyed success as an all around performer; as a comedian, my career took me from Toronto to Chicago, New York City, and Vancouver to perform with some of North America's best before I had even turned 22. As a composer, I have integrated my extensive theatre training into my film compositions, utilizing my entrenched understanding of character and story to weave scores that perfectly reflect their visual counterparts.

These days you can catch me performing with a few different acts; as the musical director and co-host of web-series 10 Minute Talk Show, as a vocalist for indie band Field Study, and as the drummer for the bands Shrinehouse and Squid Mountain, as well as the odd one off show around Toronto.

Honey Beard EP Launch w/ Bon Villan + Modula

This is akin to seeing LCD Soundsystem in some sweaty little dive bar in the LES before the taste of the world and gentrification made such an event impossible.

COME DANCE! You never know if it will be your last chance.

Hot Lips are coming in on fire with a new video release!

Their music bangs on records, but the Honeybeard live visual experience is out of this world.

SINGLES (90's Tribute Band)

SINGLES (90's Tribute Band)

Does anyone remember the 90's?

They were great! Maybe they were better?

DJ Nova (Too Young To Go Steady) rolls through his favourite venue with a cover band behemoth sure to bring the excitement of lost virginity and the stench of newly fallen leaves.

Nostalgia aside. The fact that you were born in 1992 aside. This is consistently one of our most boisterous dancefloors and always turn into a cathartic sing-a-long where strangers embrace and Tinder dates turn into moving in together. Whether or not their names are Jonas, somebody wakes up in their makeup feeling like a bullet with butterfly wings that wants to fly.

Idle Tigers X Secret Wars X Mr Pharmacist

Idle Tigers X Secret Wars X Mr Pharmacist

Toby Schertzer:  Vocals, Samples;
Robert Howard:  Guitars, Keyboards, Vocals;
Joe Steeves:  Guitars, Keyboards;
Mike Letourneau:  Bass, Vocals;
Glenn Milchem:  Drums

MR PHARMACIST is the result of a collective unnatural interest in the peculiar brand of expressive cynicism practiced by the late UK maverick - and statesman - Mark E. Smith and his brilliant THE FALL.  MR PHARMACIST, formed in 2009, is fan indulgence by way of tribute to THE FALL - a band with no more apparent concerns about what might be considered commercial pop music than any of the members of MR PHARMACIST. Tackling THE FALL repertoire from their late 1970’s beginnings - to the band's last works - through the more commercial periods - to the more challenging experimental work - MR PHARMACIST approach the material with reverence - and the goal of producing faithful interpretations. To those unaware that they are witnessing a tribute, MR PHARMACIST, might be mistaken for a band simply and bizarrely unaware of conventional pop music or even current trends. To devotees, MR PHARMACIST provides that musical gateway to THE FALL's nonconformity.

Members:  Andrew Currie, Ross Hawkins, Dave Keay, Steve Szigeti
Idle Tigers is spearheaded by Ross Hawkins, who released CDs in 2008 (The Spirit Salon) and 2009 (Persisting Like a Racehorse, available on Spotify). Originally from the Yorkshire regions of England, Hawkins writes songs with a strong emphasis on storytelling. Song arrangements are developed by the band and influenced by the work of Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave, Tom Waits, avant-garde artists such as Laurie Anderson, literary absurdist pop-punk such as Magazine, The Fall and The Birthday Party, and cult “singing authors” such as Jake Thackray, Dory Previn and Momus.

Idle Tigers approaches the question of what should and should not be contained in a song (musically and lyrically) with constructive irreverence.

Members: Armando Lulu, Minesh Mandoda, Chad Storie, Derek Westerholm.
Utilizing: Bass, Guitars, Loops, Drums, Vocals and suchlike.
Lineage/Origins: Parts Unknown, The Creeping Nobodies, Mean Red Spiders, Ghostlight, 122 Griege, Jim Storie Juniors, Beethoven Frieze, All Under Heaven, Skull Bong, etc.
Influences: Strange and tumultuous times, mental health, post-punk, art-rock, proto-punk, krautrock, dub, no wave, new wave, indie, rock & roll, fractured pop -- probably thousands more.
In dystopian days: Visit record stores.

Sophie & The Gentles X Ace of Wands

Sophie Gentle fronts this Motown inspired, Rock and Roll band from Barrie, Ontario. Although some of their songs may tug at your heart strings, the bands catchy upbeat hooks will make you wanna move!

Website -

Facebook -

Ace of Wands is the music and songwriting of Lee Rose. Joined by Anna Mernieks and Jody Brumell, the band creates mixture of tones and emotions, blending soaring vocals, violin, synth-bass and guitar into songs inspired by the supernatural, elemental forces and physical sensation. Drawing on a background of rock and roll, classical violin training and folk music, Ace of Wands expands their songwriting to incorporate facets of cinematic soundscapes, pop melodies and interlocking guitars and vocals. Motivated by the tarot card of the same name, the music is about will and determination; to create and destroy, and to bring about physical, mental and spiritual transformation.

Also featuring the magical Evangeline Gentle

Jordan Hart X AKKU String Quaintet

Prepare for an evening of mellow, moving sounds that soothe soul in troubled times, calming our wild Autumnal spirits as the Harvest Equinox settles in.

AKKU Quintet are a Swiss band based in Berne, from where they dispense a minimalistic jazz groove to great effect. Between the mesmeric ostinato, subtly shifting grooves, resonant overtones, tingling harmonics and languorous, yearning melodies, AKKU Quintet hover somewhere between smouldering, jazz-infused intimacy, expansive post-rock vistas and an insistent minimalist intensity.

Following their acclaimed 2015 album, Molecules, AKKU Quintet have released their third record, Aeon. Intense, brooding and powerful, it contains a sequence of darkly beautiful compositions. The band avoids any obvious soloing. Instead they move through their tunes in a highly disciplined, tight formation which fans of "Sonar" and the work of zen-funk pioneer, Zurich-based pianist, Nik Bärtsch, will recongise and respect.

Expertise is a wonderful thing. It can astound, it can amaze - yet when held in the hands of those so young - it can INSPIRE.

The freaky funky jazzbos and soulquarians of FUNK THE SYSTEM are bringing their top shelf chops and preternatural sensitivity for the groove to the JCMH dancefloor and you won't want to miss it.

What's more, they're rolling through with a cast of singers and dancers that will elevate your groovy consciousness to that hallowed higher ground. Prepare to get your ears rarified as the finest sounds in the air get glorified.
